Using the Start Manager
The Start Manager enables you to choose what type of blank document you want to use when you start First Page 2006 - either one of the pre-installed (X)HTML documents, or a template document you previously created. You can also use the Start Manager when First Page 2006 is already open to quickly create a new document.
To use the Start Manager:
Click on the Tools > Launch Start Manager menu option or press F5.
To create a default HTML page (4.01 Transitional document type definition), click on the How to... for more information about what you can do with First Page 2006.

button.You can edit the settings for the Start Manager by editing the following options:
Show Start Manager on Startup - Always display the Start Manager when starting First Page 2006.
Create New Document on Startup - Always create a new document when starting First Page 2006.
